'Kiss?' "I don't think we know each other well enough for kisses of any kind though, so how about a handshake?" Triton offers his hand to Quatre, a small smile on his face.

Quatre nodded. “Alright. Nice to meet you.”

Triton shook his hand, “I’m Triton Bloom, it’s nice to meet you as well. I apologize for my friend Duo throwing me at you like that. He means well, he’s just over exuberant. I’ve never been to L4 before so he wanted me to ‘sample everything’ as he calls it.”

“It’s alright. I have a friend who does the same to me from time to time.” He said with a small shrug of his shoulder.

Triton grinned at him from behind his bang, “It’s nice to know I’m not the only one.” He took a deep breath, “So, what do you do here on L4? Or are you just visiting?”

He smiled warmly. “Oh I’m sorry… I didn’t introduce myself... I’m Quatre Winner. I’m actually a resident of this colony.”

Triton gave a slight nod, “Do you like living here? Duo says it’s a ‘sure sight better than L2′ and it seems to be in better condition than L3, where I’m from.”

“It’s alright… though nothing can mimic Earth.” He replied.

“That’s true, Earth is beautiful.” Triton replied before scanning the large ballroom, “Do you always man the kissing booth at these charity events?” He had been wondering about that… and why Duo had shoved him in the line for the man and not the woman. Well okay, he knew why Duo had done that but he usually left that particular subject alone. Sure, Triton was gay, but that didn’t mean everyone else was, and Triton wouldn’t date someone he didn’t know, let alone kiss them no matter what reason. And Duo knew that. He’d come to this charity event with his eccentric friend because he felt orphanages were a good cause to support and he was on the colony already and Duo had somehow finagled invitations…

Quatre laughed a bit at that. “No. I was volunteered by my sisters.” He replied. “I’m normally the sponsor of this event, but she told me that this would be a good way to raise money.” He said gesturing to the booth he sat at.

“Ahh, well I’ll let you get back to it.” He winked at Quatre and handed him a twenty dollar bill before stepping from the line. He knew what it was like to have a sister pushing you to do things… he didn’t think he could handle more than one of Cathy so he had immense sympathy for the man.

He nodded. “Thanks…” Quatre muttered as he stuck the bill in the cash box. Well, that was interesting… at least there was some good at being stuffed in this kissing booth. That man had been rather good looking.

Triton moved off and wander around the rest of the event hall looking at things here and there. He bought an art piece for his sister that he had sent to his hotel room, he really hoped she liked it. She tended to like everything to do with the circus so he was sure she wouldn’t hate it at least. He grinned as he found himself back over by the kissing booths again. In all this time he still hadn’t found Duo again, but that was pretty normal. Triton moved to lean against a wall and simply watched the blonde man work his booth. The guy was adorable and having wandered around he now understood exactly who he was... which kind of made it more amusing that his sisters were able to force him to work in the kissing booth. His family had basically founded this Colony, he’d never met someone that important before. It surprised him that the man seemed so nice, he’d heard that monied and important families like his tended to look down on other people.

Quatre leaned back against the chair he was sitting in. He was going to murder his sisters for making him do this. He hated being the most fucking eligible bachelor in the Earth Sphere. Feeling eyes on him he turned to see the green-eyed man that had slipped him. He gave a shy wave before turning back to his work.

Startled that Quatre had noticed him he came away from the wall and moved closer. Once he was within speaking distance he asked, “Aren’t you entitled to a break at some point?”

He looked at his watch, “In another hour or so…” Quatre muttered softly. the line wasn’t here at this point do he leaned back in the chair with a sigh.

Triton smiled softly at the obviously weary man, “Do you mind if I hang around? I don’t want to bother you.” Duo seems to have disappeared and you’re the most interesting person I’ve met so far. Yeah… that last part’s creepy, he thought to himself. But other than the blonde being intriguing… he didn’t have anything else.

He glanced down at Triton and shrugged. “I usually wander the even making sure everything is running smoothly.”

Triton nodded his head, that seemed like a hosty thing to do. “Is it fun?” He’d never really been to a charity event before… but he found it kind of boring.

He shrugged. “It can be. I visit with a lot of people, so it keeps things interesting.”

Nodding again Triton had officially run out of things to say. He pulled his knees up to his chest and laid his chin on them watching as more people came through Quatre’s line. Most people it was just a kiss on the cheek -seriously though who would want a bunch of different people’s germs on their mouth? - but some of them were not. He watched fascinated as girls swooned over him and even a few guys laid kisses on those beautiful lips. It was then and there that he decided he would never be able to work a kissing booth, the idea of a female attempting to kiss him made him almost physically ill. He winced every time one kissed Quatre, even grimacing over some of the men. There were just too many people, and while he could perform on a stage in front of millions... they didn’t get to touch him.

He grimaced as soon as his hour was up. “I feel like I need mouthwash.” He muttered looking over at his guest. “I have a break now. I plan on vanishing for a bit, if you want I wouldn’t mind the company.”

Triton blinked up at him for a second before smiling slightly, “I’d love you join you.” He stood up and offered a hand to lever the other man up if he wanted it. “Where were you planning on disappearing to?”

“Into the crowd.” He muttered as he accepted the hand up.

Trowa rose a brow at him as the man took his hand. He helped him up and then gestured that he would follow him, “After you Mr. Winner.”

He laughed a little, “Please… call me Quatre. I get enough of being called Mr. Winner in the office.”

Triton grinned, “I’ll try to remember that Quatre.” Triton was embarrassingly happy about being able to call the beautiful man by his first name. But moved calmly through the crowd at his side.

He led him away from the crowd. “Thanks Triton. I needed to get away from that madhouse for a moment…”

“No worries, I’m glad I could be of help.” Though Triton was sure Quatre would have been able to get away and actually have some alone time if he hadn’t decided to annoy him. “What exactly is it that you do? You mentioned ‘at the office’ so it made me curious.” Triton was nervous and felt he needed to explain himself, he wasn’t very good at conversation.

Quatre shrugged as he picked his way through the crowd. “I work at WEI.” He stated, not giving any more information than that. “What do you do?”

“Oh.” Triton now understood exactly who the man he was talking to was, he’d heard a ton about that company. “I work in a traveling Circus with my older sister. Which seems really lame in comparison. But it’s fun and I get to travel everywhere… though I could do without my sister on occasion.” He grinned over at the blonde hoping to lighten the mood.

Quatre nodded, “Yeah.” He said pausing to listen to the other explain what he did. “Actually, that sounds awesome. I’ve only ever been to other colonies on business. It would be fun to travel everywhere.”

“It can be, it can also be really lonely though. I mean sure, I’m with people I’ve known my entire life, but I don’t really know anyone outside of the Circus. I became friends with Duo... kind of on accident. I went to an art gallery showing on L2 while the Circus was there and turns out the piece I really wanted was done by him.” Triton clammed up looking away embarrassed, he couldn’t believe he’d just spilled all of that out there. He never spoke that much... or about himself or the people he knows. It was kind of weird.

“Sounds about like me. I don’t really know anyone outside of the office.” He said with a small shrug. “Well besides my family and now you.” He added with a small smile. “Some good has come out of me having to man that booth today. I met someone new… that wasn’t there just because I’m well me.”

Triton chuckled, “That’s true.” He certainly liked speaking with the blonde, though as with his friendship with Duo he knew it would be hard for him to consider the man his friend until he had time to get to know him better. He had to admit that it was nice to ‘know’ someone outside of the Circus and Duo now. He’d never had the problem of people garnering for his attention because of who he was however, acrobats didn’t get that kind of attention.

He nodded a bit as he led them a ways from the gathering by the park fountain. The area was still within the green area, but far enough away they shouldn’t be pestered by reporters… or his family members.

Triton followed him around looking at the scenery, “It’s really beautiful here.” It was a statement of fact and as he turned back to his companion he smiled and asked, “So, other than working for WEI and being a Winner. What do you do for fun?”
